In a unique attempt,
Mere Pyare Prime Minister teams up with Kokuyo Camlin and gives people a unique opportunity to make their voice heard by sharing their messages/grievance with the Prime Minister of India.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's upcoming next titled '
Mere Pyare Prime Minister' opts for a unique strategy in association with Camlin.
The film revolves around 8-year-old Kanhu who lives in a slum of Mumbai & writes a letter to the Prime Minister after an ugly incident happens with his mother. Leading stationery brand Kokuyo Camlin has joined hands with the makers of the film to initiate a campaign asking people to send messages to the Prime Minister via #PMKoChitthi.
Starting from 5th March, the contest would accept entries on leading social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) in the form of letters, audio/video blogs, tweet or post as the makers wish to keep the contest as open and simple as possible.
The only criteria is that the letters need to start with
"Mere Pyare Prime Minister..." and should be posted on social media with
#PMKoChitthi Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra would then pick the best entries which would not only be shared with Prime Minister's office but also receive movie tickets along with Kokuyo Camlin product hampers.
The film starring Om Kanojiya, National award-winning actress
Anjali Patil, Adarsh Bharti, Prasad, Syna Anand, Niteesh Wadhwa, Atul Kulkarni, Makarand Deshpande, Rasika Agashe, Sonia Albizuri, and Nachiket Purnapatre brings together power-packed performances. The music of the film is given by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and lyrics by Gulzar. Written by Manoj Mairta, Hussain Dalal and
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
