Remo D'souza is back with a bang with his new flick ABCD - Any Body Can Dance,
India's first 3D dance film. Needless to say, the dance moves in this
movie will keep everyone on their toes and the music doesn't fail
either. Sachin-Jigar composed this album, keeping the versatility factor
in mind.
The album starts with "Shambhu Sataya", a
Ganesh devotional song and the track opens with a soothing sholka by
Shankar Mahadevan. The track is energetic and the thumping of the
dhols and
nagadas
sync very well. We can also observe the use of different genres here.
Keep this track on repeat, especially if you're a Ganesh devotee!
"Bezubaan"
is the next song in the album and it is an

amazing track, which
compliments the dance moves really well. It's very enchanting and
touches the soul!
Mohit Chauhan and Priya Panchal's vocals for the song
are in perfect sync and do the wonderful lyrics full justice. The song
is very meaningful and conveys the message of achieving one's goals in
life by crossing all barriers. Again, a fabulous song with fabulous
choreography. Don't miss the video and reserve a place for this song on
your playlist!
The much talked about song,
"Psycho Re" is a jolly and fun track. With the intelligent lyrics by
Mayuri Puri and an addictive "rattipattey" chant this song is
enchanting.
Udit Narayan and
Mika Singh are in total harmony in this
track. This is one gem of a song!
Another
amazing song, "Mann Basiyo Saawariyo," sung by
Anushka Manchanda is a
good shocker. Her voice is subtle, soothing, and impressive. The song
has crazy beats and breezy sounds. The lyrics are very romantic and the
overall song is addictive.
"Chandu Ki
Girlfriend", the next track, is funny and talks about a bizarre guy
called Chandu and his beautiful girlfriend. The singers Raman Mahadevan,
Jigar Saraiya, Divya Pushkarna, Sagar Kendurkar, and Madhav Krishna,
make this track very entertaining and hysterical. Good one!
"Duhaai"
features many musical instruments with a sweeping orchestra and a
mellow guitar. Madhav Krishna contributes his voice and doesn't fail to
impress. The song is so emotional that it dissolves our soul into it.
It's a very versatile track. Sachin-Jigar have done a really splendid
job on this one.
"Sorry Sorry"' is a bit of a
familiar song and has Punjabi beats. It's a situation track where a
lover apologizes for his mistake to his girlfriend. Jigar Saraiya has
contributed his splendid voice for the song. Overall it's an okay song
that can be given a miss.
Suraj Jagan is
astonishing in "Kar Ja Re Ya Mar Ja Re". The song begins with haunting
baby's laughter and the nursery rhyme 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'
played on the piano. The instrumental track has a death metal sound and
also includes dub step beats. It's an interesting track that is sure to
incite some powerful emotions in the listener.
The
album began with Ganesh ji and ends with him. The last track "Sadda Dil
Vi Tu (Ga Ga Ganpati)" is another Ganesh track and is a step ahead of
"Shambhu Sataya".
Hard Kaur adds her signature flavor in the form of a
Punjabi rap to this song and makes it really interesting and innovative.
This track is a must on your playlist!
ABCD
