Today marks the birthday of two brilliant actors in Bollywood, the chocolate boy
.
Born
on February 25, 1981,
Shahid Kapoor is the son of actor-director Pankaj
Kapoor and yesteryear actress
Neelima Azeem. Coming from a family where
everyone was in the film industry, this Kapoor lad began his Bollywood
journey with the romantic-comedy
Ishq Vishk (2003) for which he
bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. With his cute
guy-next-door looks, he soon became the blue-eyed boy of B-town.
Over
the years, as an actor he went on to do numerous films which magnified
his charisma onscreen. Kapoor has featured in films like
Fida (2004),
Dil Maange More (2004),
Shikhar (2005),
Vivah (2006),
Jab We Met (2007),
Kismat Konnection (2008),
Kaminey (2009),

Along
with being a great actor, he is also known for his infamous dancing
skills and he has proven his dancing mettle in almost all of his movies.
Danny
Denzongpa on the other hand, is a man of many talents who was born into
a Buddhist family in Kolkata, West Bengal on February 25, 1948.
Denzongpa first stepped into Bollywood in 1971 with
Zaroorat. He became well known for his performance in
Dhundh (1973), after which his career took a flight with films like
Chor Machaye Shor (1974),
Zorro (1975) and
Sangram
(1976) to name a few. In the early 80's, Denzongpa decided to quit
doing films and diverted his path to become a director. He made his
directorial debut with the suspense-horror film
Phir Wohi Raat (1980). After the movie became a huge success, he returned to playing positive and supporting roles with movies such as
Love Story (1981) and
Boxer (1984).
After making a grand come back in 1984, Denzongpa started getting offers for negative roles, which he began with
Dharm Aur Qanoon (1984), and the list goes on to include
Kanoon Kya Karega (1984),
Oonche Log (1985),
Bhagwan Dada (1986),
Agneepath (1990),
Hum (1991),
Krantiveer (1994) and
Pukar (2000). He did an international project alongside Hollywood actor BradPitt namely
Seven Years In Tibet (1997).
Denzongpa
again decided to take a break in 2003 until 2009, during which he did
only ten films. Along with being a great actor, he is also
an accomplished singer who shared space with
Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed
Rafi and Asha Bhonsle. Not only is he a Bollywood actor but he has also
appeared in Telugu, Tamil and Nepali cinema. Writing and sculpting are a
few of his hidden talents. He was recently seen portraying a corrupt
