What's in vogue in B-town this Summer?

This babe sure knows her style. Peplum skirts are the in-thing this season but they are as tricky to carry off as they are pretty, especially with a curvaceous figure. But Pari's combination here works perfectly as the coral skirt and the full-sleeved white tailored shirt with minimum bling complement each other beautifully. The simple ponytail for a hairdo adds to the effect of the whole ensemble and Pari carries it off so gracefully that it just wipes off all semblance of the brash brat of Ishaqzaade from my mind and replaces it with that of a pretty doll!

The salwar-kurta is an evergreen part of the Indian attire. With some variations here and there, there's always a new style to portray, and when it's Sonakshi who's donning one, there remains little room for complain. Sonakshi's fashion sense seems to impress many, especially when she can carry off most outfits with ease. While some believe that the Dabangg girl cannot carry the western attire as flawlessly, that is a discussion I choose to park for some other time. The neon-coloured kurta with tapered salwar inspired from her Rowdy Rathore look are slick and simple at the same time. Teamed with a white dupatta striped with colours and neon bangles, the attire can give you an instant desi-yet-modern look.

Neha Dhupia

Prints rarely go out of fashion. Small prints, large prints, animal prints, flower prints or abstract prints, you name it and they have it all this summer. Prints work well on shirts, kurtas, jumpsuits and dresses as well. But don't go for an assortment of prints on one single piece of your wardrobe or that might just ruin the look. This orange-red dress with huge white prints may not catch your eye at the first look but you will soon be swept by the simplicity of it. Pairing the outfit with a couple of heavy bracelets and hair flowing in wavy tresses, Neha exudes the perfect summery look.

Sonam Kapoor

Maxis paired with loose trousers are in vogue this season, and if white is the colour of your ensemble, you can hardly ever go wrong with the look. The Raanjhanaa babe, who is also a style icon for many, carries off this embroidered white maxi with loose white trousers with aplomb. Accessorizing it with metallic or earthy shades adds a subtle glamorous look to the summery outfit. Loud colours of accessories can ruin the charm of the classic white, so do be careful when putting together your attire.

Malaika Arora Khan

Blazers can always work magic on your attire. They can be teamed up with tees, dresses, shirts, playsuits and skirts. Bright colored jackets are the latest fad in town. Team them up with pastel or earthy tones and they can instantly pep up your ensemble. The bold beauty, Malaika Arora Khan, flaunts this soft yellow blazer with a printed dress. While Malaika goes bold with the short length, you can also team it up with a pair of jeans or trousers based on your outfit. Go unleash the summer vibrancy!

Kajol Devgn

Floral prints and designs are synonymous with summers. Be it saris, kurtas, shirts or dresses, floral prints pep up the wardrobe just like floral fragrances pep up the spirit. What's best is floral prints work for all ages. The flimsy fabric with bright colored flowers makes up a perfect summery choice and Kajol does justice to the outfit with the simple drape.
