Aishwarya Rai's Breathtaking Fashion Face-Off With Her Ownself

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and ethnic Indian ensembles, share an ethereal affair. Like many of us, Aishwarya too likes donning the choicest of Indian outfits, and it seems as though her stylist has the best of designer garbs to offer her. And without an ounce of a doubt, Aish looks the amazing in them. She is called the world's most beautiful woman for a reason!

So, just recently for an event, Aishwarya had worn a cotton material, gold gotta embroidered suit in off-white. The design of the suit featured a comfort fit bottom and kurta. The suit was beautiful, just like Aish and she made it look tenfolds more beautiful. We were left completely awestruck by the sight of it. 

Well like, that off-white suit wasn't enough, Aish gave the same design another outing. Aishwarya was spotted by our style desk wearing the same label's suit in a light blue hue. This time it was in a lighter shade of blue with silver zari gotta patti adorning the hems of the ensemble.

Did you know, this art of appliqueing gold and silver ribbons on outfits originated in Rajasthan and is popularly known as gotta work. In this style of embroidery, small and flat, zari ribbons are sewn across the edges of the fabric to create elaborate motifs. Gota work is usually done on cotton and pure georgette fabrics.
