That's WHY Salman Khan said YES for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Film

Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently confirmed reuniting with Salman Khan in his next film. Sharing details about the film, he had said that it's going to be a love story and will go on floors this year.

It is after 20 years that SLB and Salman are coming back together post their last venture, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which was a massive hit back then.

Currently, Salman is busy shooting for Dabangg 3 and immediately wrapping up his brother, Arbaaz Khan's directorial and before he starts with his next cop film, which is a remake of Korean movie titled Veteran; he will start shooting for SLB's project in September.

A recent report in Mumbai Mirror has revealed the reason behind Salman giving his nod for SLB's film. It states that the actor wanted a break from his larger-than-life image and that he wanted to start 2020 with a different genre film.

"Salman wasn't keen on doing back-to-back cop films. That's why he gave the nod to Bhansali's love story that helps him break away from his larger-than-life image and is being readied for a 2020 release. The yet-untitled action thriller will now go on the floors in the first quarter of next year," stated the report.

It seems, with SLB's film in line, the remake of the Korean film, Veteran will have to wait.

Meanwhile, Salman recently wrapped up his upcoming film, Bharat which is an official adaptation of a South-Korean film, An Ode To My Father and also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi.
