An official statement from KriArj Entertainment states:

"This is really disgusting. Certain people, for their own vested interests, are trying to hit below the belt. And that too to a rank newcomer, who has come from outside the industry.

She is being unnecessarily being targetted just because she is new, doesn't understand the nuances of the film business, just be because she trusted her so-called industry friends.

Small matters are being blown out of proportion by certain industry non-starters, who we all know, have zilch standing in the fraternity.

Going forward Prernaa will only be concentrating in creatives & setting up film projects & we all as a team are here not only to contribute our best to the company but to Indian cinema and its audiences as well", says Girish Johar of KriArj Entertainment
