Virat Kohli's BEST Birthday Gift for wife Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma turned a year older yesterday and her dear hubby left no stone unturned to make her special day even more memorable.

The celebrations began from the midnight of April 30th and continued till the wee hours of May 2! From a surprise cake cutting ceremony to loading Anushka with gifts and then giving her the final present of the day! Virat made it all special.

To top it all, he ended the day by winning the much-needed IPL (Indian Premier League) match against Mumbai Indians last night. Even after it being her birthday, Anushka came over to cheer her hubby and his team, Royal Challengers Bangalore. Even though she came in the second innings, all eyes were glued to her.

Anushka was nonstop in cheering from the stands as RCB players fought hard to defeat MI players. The match took place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru and RCB defeated MI from 14 runs.

Excited and overwhelmed by the victory, during the post match presentation ceremony, Virat shared that he is very happy to keep up the hopes of all the RCB fans by qualifying for the play-offs and that this win has been a little gift for his wife.

"My wife is here and it's her birthday. This was a little gift for her. It was very important to achieve these two points in front of her," said Kohli.

Also, the cricketer became the all-time leading run-scorer in the Indian Premier League.

It indeed was a special and memorable day for both Virat and Anushka!
