Anushka Sharma in TROUBLE, SLAPPED with a Legal Notice

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma who resides in the in the western suburb region of the city, has been given a notice by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for illegal construction at her residence.

Reportedly, a neighbour has filed a complaint with the BMC accusing Anushka of illegally installing an electric junction box on her floor. Apart from this, he has also accused her of openly disregarding several other laws in the society.

Soon after receiving the complaint, the BMC took action against the actress. They inspected the area and ordered her to remove the electric junction box that she installed illegally.

However, the official statement from Anushka's spokesperson has clarified that all the allegations are baseless. The statement reads: "Anushka's family had taken all requisite permissions in 2013 itself before installing this junction box so they have not defaulted on any account. BMC has just responded to a complaint the ex-secretary has put out there is no offense that has been committed."

Mumbai Mirror has quoted a residents of the same building saying, "This particular individual claiming that the construction is illegal, himself has multiple illegal parking spaces, apart from other illegal constructions in and around his house."
