New Delhi, Oct 26 (IANS) Twenty-six films from countries like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Britain, the US, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands and New Zealand have been selected for the co-production market at South Asia's Global Film Market - Film Bazaar. The sixth edition of the film market will be held from Nov 21-24 in Goa.
The Film Bazaar offers a unique opportunity for filmmakers with South Asian stories to meet the right people and get their projects financed.
The co-production market showcases up to 25 projects every year in need of additional financing as well as artistic support.
Among the 26 films that will be showcased at the film bazaar this year are Umesh Kulkarni's "Antaraal", Q's "Superboundi", Atiq Rahimi's "Kabuliwala", Ashwin Kumar's "Tasveer", Anusha Rizvi's "Opium" and Nila Madhab Panda's "Broken Hills".
Film Bazaar, the promotional arm of National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) of India, takes place every year alongside the International Film Festival of India, which will start in Goa Nov 20.
