Aamir's Shot At Oprah Stint?!

There has been much speculation in the past over two distinct matters: An Indian TV version of the internationally famous Oprah Winfrey talk show; Aamir Khan turning to television as a host, following suit of other biggies, including rival Khans.

And if you did put two and two together, the series of buzz in both those scenarios shall see a concurrence now, with Siddharth Basu working on the making of the said Indian remake of Winfrey's talk show, with high hopes and intentions of roping in Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan himself to step into Oprah's shoes and play host!

The said show, yet untitled, shall be a Big Synergy TV production, and although Basu confirms nothing about the buzz which tips us off about Aamir's role, he does admit to being in talks with Bollywood giants for the same. Khan himself has shown recent interest in turning to the small screen, albeit not via a game show - unlike some of his greatest rivals in the industry. Ahem!

While everything about this matter is quite hearsay for now, there is no smoke without fire, and media has received no outright denials from either of the said parties to the obvious questions.

So if you're a fan of Aamir, and/or Oprah's show, this should serve to be an interesting scoop for you. No harm in keeping fingers crossed, eh?!
