Endemol makes Bollywood debut

After producing reality shows, Endemol is now venturing into Bollywood with a Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit, Traffic.  It's considered to be one of the highest-grossing Malayalam projects so far in the calendar year. Several top film production companies were in the running to acquire the Hindi remake rights of the project.

The Hindi remake will be directed by Rajesh Pillai, the director of the Malayalam original. Deepak Dhar on confirming the news - "Yes, we have acquired the remake rights for Traffic and we are very excited to begin work on this. Other details pertaining to the project will be announced at an appropriate time."
