Lara & Mahesh's dreamy Goan Wedding!

As promised, we're here to bring you loyal Bollywood buffs more buzz and pictures of Lara and Mahesh Bhupathi's wedding bash galore. Here's the insider's glimpse of their dreamy Victorian-style Christian wedding held in Goa.  

The ceremony which took place at the sunset point of the Portuguese fort of Aguada in Goa on Saturday morning witnessed the presence of family and close friends only.

The blushing bride looked mesmerizing walking down the aisle in an Ellie Saab lacy white couture, rich with delicate webs of ivory lace and a 10-meter trail. Her look was completed with an elegant diamond tiara and diamond chandelier earrings. She was perfectly complemented by her better half who looked dashing in a black tuxedo.

The couple expressed their love for each other by reciting their personal improvised vows.  

Mahesh: "When I first met you, this day was a dream. Today it is a reality. When I'm on the tour, not a day goes by without me wishing I was home with you instead, so even when I'm gone I am with you. You are my companion, partner and best friend. I promise to stick by you through hits and flops. I look forward to growing old with you"

Lara: "I promise to return your serves and volley alongside with you. I will be with you through our many wins and occasional loss. I will be your doubles partner."  But as her better emotions took over, the actress couldn't say anything else and had a overwhelmed outburst of happy tears. Mahesh stood by her, holding her in his arms, where Lara was able to compose herself and the ceremony went on.

After the fairytale wedding, the couple and their guests headed to the Taj Aguada for night-long celebrations on the beach. The decor was pleasing to the eye in shades of white, lilac and pink with flowers and candles; the cuisine was Goan. They shared their first dance to Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack's  "Tonight I Celebrate My Love for You." Later the newlyweds took off for Dubai to attend the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Mahesh shared a wedding picture on his Twitter page this morning (Feb 21st) and wrote, "Week of celebrations is done. In Dubai now for the Dubai Open." ( (c) Twitter )

Lara too shared a picture with the following side note: "A pic for all my twitter friends and followers! Thank you for all ur wishes! Had the perfect wedding!" ( (c) Twitter )

Later, she tweeted again, "Happy to be with my husband at the Dubai Open! Perfect weather!"  ( (c) Twitter )
