Lara Dutta too had spoken about Sajid Khan being RUDE and VULGAR

After Tanushree Dutta's allegations on Nana Patekar, it seemed like everyone mustered the courage to speak their own #MeToo story. Many biggies of Btown came under the radar and some of the names shocked us. Sajid Khan, Anu Malik, Kailash Kher and many other names made to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. When Sajid Khan got accused of sexual harassment by many women, Lara Dutta too expressed her disbelief. Even after many allegations against Sajid Khan, his digital media company was offering work to her and she and her husband Mahesh Bhupati questioned everyone about the lack of action against such predators. 

Lara Dutta was a part of Sajid Khan's previous rendition of Housefull and was aware of his wrong doings. At a recent event, Mahesh was talking about what Lara witnessed. He said,"We were in London at that time. She would come home and her closest friend was her hair dresser and they both would be complaining about how one of her co-stars was being treated by the director. Rude, vulgar," adding, "I told her, 'You guys are all complicit. All the four of you, who were in the film, were listening to what he was saying and not telling him it's not ok. So, at some level you guys are complicit and she agreed."

Mahesh too took to Twitter to raise a voice against what was happening and why people were just condemning such acts by words and not with actions. He wrote,"Two days ago my wife, who's shooting out of town, got an offer from a leading international digital platform through Mukesh Chhabra's company. She forwarded it to me for my feedback. I asked if she really wanted to empower his company even after what's been in the news. Her reaction was that the digital platform hadn't really pulled back business from him either. Later, Lara got in touch with the digital platform and told them she wouldn't accept work through this company specifically. I think she did the right thing. I am not sure it's enough though."
