F.A.L.T.U's 'Char Baj Gaye' continues its reign at the top of the charts. Kudos to Sameer and Sachin-Jigar for combining simple lyrics with a catchy tune that will be sung and danced to for a while to come! Just as easily, Atif Aslam delights as he pours his heart in to the haunting 'Le Ja Tu Mujhe', more polished than the rest of the album and definitely worth a listen.
Thank-you's more romantic 'Pyaar Mein' replaces 'Full Volume' whilst the catchy 'Pyar Do Pyar Lo' is knocked back a few spaces to make space for our new entry - Yash Raj's 'Tonight' of the
Luv Ka The End album. Whilst a situational track, it's charm lies in its sweet simplicity. There's definitely a broadway feel to the whole track and Suman Sridhar does a good job with the vocals.
From the same album we also have 'The Mutton Song'. It may not live up to the hype of 'Munni' and 'Sheila' and the lyrics are a letdown regardless of it's spoof status, there's enough buzz around this for it to creep into the number 10 spot.
Meanwhile 'Laila O Laila' continues the remix trend as the rehash of
Qurbani's parent number. Top marks for June Banerjee's breezy lilt. Whilst the composition falls flat in comparison to the original, the quirky track still manages a successful climb to the number 6 spot!
