Music N Masti - Bollywood's Top 10!

It may not be everyone's cup of tea but F.A.L.T.U's 'Char Baj Gaye' is a firm hit as it claims the number one spot.  Kudos to Sameer and Sachin-Jigar for combining simple lyrics with a catchy tune that we'll be singing along with for a while to come!  Just as easily Atif Aslam delights as he pours his heart in to the haunting 'Le Ja Tu Mujhe', more polished than the rest of the album and definitely worth a listen.

Meanwhile the Dum Maaro Dum album demands attention as it quickly climbs up the charts to claim the 2nd spot with its softly romantic balled aptly titled 'Te Amo' or 'I love you" in Spanish.  Close on its heels is 'Mit Jaaye Gam' which has quickly divided music lovers into two groups - those who love this more feisty version and those who wish that the cult 1971 track, Dum Maaro Dum, had been left well alone.  This writer is rooting for the latter but considering it's popularity, we compromise at number 5.

Other tracks include Thank You's 'Pyar Do Pyar Lo' (another popular remake, this time of Janbaz with Mika Singh wisely making few alterations), Game's 'Kaun Hai Ajnabi' that reflects the movie's thriller feel whilst oldies 'Darling' (7 Khoon Maaf) and 'Sadi Gaali' (Tanu Weds Manu) retain their spots in the chart.
