Pyramid Saimira to release 'Kuselan' worldwide

Mumbai, April 30 (IANS) The worldwide release rights of Rajinikanth-starrer 'Kuselan', a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu, has gone to Pyramid Saimira Entertainment Ltd, Singapore, the company said here Wednesday.

A re-make of Malayalam movie 'Katha Parayumbol', starring Mammootty and Sreenivas, the bi-lingual 'Kuselan' has been directed by P. Vasu and has Rajnikanth in both versions.

Pyramid Saimira Entertainment Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pyramid Saimira Group, acquired the movie's rights for over Rs.1 billion, film industry sources said. But the company's office in Mumbai, when contacted, refused to comment.

The much-hyped 'Kuselan' is due for release July-end.
