Aamir beats Deepika

Aamir Khan, Deeipka padukone" align="right" hspace="5" vspace="5" />Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan along with his partner Aparna Popat beat the favourites Deepika Padukone and Prakash Padukone at a friendly badminton match.


On Sunday (5th July), Aamir Khan played a match at the annual tournament for the Padukone Academy run by the badminton champion.


Playing a doubles match, Aamir along with his partner beat the champs at their own game.


Like any other normal guy, Aamir is a sports freak himself, be it chess, table tennis, tennis, cricket or badminton.


It is a new found interest that the 'Ghajini' hero has found in the sport.


So taken in by the game, the actor influenced the entire team of '3 Idiots' to play badminton during the breaks. He compares the sport with the dance form 'ballet' as he beleives that it requires a lot of control, strength, mind play and mesaured movements.
