Censor Board is at work. Last year it targeted Madhur Bhandakar's "Fashion". It would've been really inappropriate for the Indian audience to experience Kangana's ramp accident. Another notable target was "Hello". They wanted to cut out the scene where Gul Panag asks her partner if he has condoms before they have sex. One might wonder if the Censor Board is promoting unsafe sex.
Now the Censor Board is at action once again. And it has asked Preity Zinta starrer "Videsh" to tone down it's violence by 50%. Supposedly, the domestic violence is too much. Would anyone like to remind them the movie is based on a woman who is domestically violated? They also have a problem with profanities used in the movie. It looks like they would like to change Videsh into a another pretty Bollywood masala, instead of exposing the real horrifying situations the movie is based on.
