This might come as a sad news for all Ranveer Singh- Deepika Padukone fans who were eagerly waiting to see their sizzling chemistry in their upcoming film 'Padmavati'. The couple will not have even a single scene or a dream sequence or even a song together in the film!

The makers released an official statement that reads: "Repeating. There NEVER was and never will be any scene or dream or song between #RaniPadmavati and #AlauddinKhilji in #Padmavati".

"Repeating. #SanjayLeelaBhansali revers #RaniPadmavati and will NEVER do anything to hurt #Rajput sentiments. Do not believe otherwise "

"Anyone working on #Padmavati will confirm that there NEVER was any scene or dream between #RaniPadmavati and #AlauddinKhilji @ShobhaIyerSant"

They also urged the fan clubs of the star cast of the film to spread the word with the hashtag "No Scene Between RaniPadmavat iAnd AlauddinKhilji"
