Yesterday marked the completion of one year of Rashtriya Swachhta Diwas. Our B-town celebs were seen taking active participation in the cleanliness drive to celebrate the day. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Juhi Chawla and Gul Panag were among the members who stepped out for this special cause. Bollywood has always stood as a great platform to spread messages among the masses and this time the Indian government seems to be making a good use of it.
This time it isn't just the actors but their films too that has been used to promote awareness on cleanliness on railways stations.
A few posters put up on the Howrah railway station (Kolkata) has been grabbing a lot of attention from the passengers. The posters carry a social message in it with the theme of Bollywood films. Epic dialogues from films like Deewar, Sholay and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' have been twisted and put up on the posters.
For instance, one of the posters read, "Ja Simran Ja...platform bhi saaf rakte hue jaa".
While these posters appear to be hilarious one, it does carry an important message beneath itself.
Well, this smart move by Indian Railways is really appreciable.
