2016 is shaping up to be quite a year for Bollywood with many movies making it big in the box office and many others fetching rave reviews. We're headed into July, a month of heavy rainfall, and we have an astonishing array of Bollywood movies lined up to tackle the downpour. One thing's for sure, the month is going to be super exciting! Let's take a look at the upcoming Hindi movies suited up to hit the big screen:
July kicks off in top gear with
Ali Abbas Zafar's
Salman Khan starrer
Sultan, which is all set to hit the theaters this Eid. This action packed sports flick revolves around a Haryanvi wrestler
Sultan Ali Khan, and his personal and professional struggles.
Anushka Sharma will essay the character of Aarfa,
Sultan's love interest, while
Randeep Hooda will be seen as
Sultan's coach. UFC fighter Tyron Woodley has been roped in to face off with Khan in the big fight.
Sultan is definitely going to be a treat for all Salman fans; it hits the big screen on July 6, so do book your seats in advance!
Happy Bhaag Jayegi
Aanand L Rai's productional venture
Happy Bhaag Jayegi is all set to release on June 15. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, this cross-border romance stars
Abhay Deol and
Diana Penty in crucial roles. Penty, who was last seen in Eros'
Cocktail (2012), makes her comeback to Bollywood as Happy, a lively open-minded girl. The castos rounded up by
Ali Fazal,
Jimmy Shergill,
Piyush Mishra, Kanwaljit Singh and Momal Sheikh. Make sure that you keep a close watch for the movie, you as wouldn't want to miss this one!
The brand new installment in the popular Masti series,
Great Grand Masti will hit the silver screens on July 22. Directed by
Indra Kumar, this movie features Riteish Deshmukh,

Mishti,
Sonal Chauhan and
Pooja Chopra make up the supporting cast. This adult comedy flick tells the story of three husbands who get involved with a girl despite having attractive wives. Even though panned by critics, the previous installment went on to become a super hit. Will

Bollywood hunks
Varun Dhawan and
John Abraham team up under
Rohit Dhawan's directorial for this upcoming Action flick. Set in the Middle East,
Dishoom tells the story of Kabir Shergill (
John Abraham) and Junaid Ansari (
Varun Dhawan), who team up to investigate the kidnapping of Viraj (
Saqib Saleem), a popular Indian cricketer right before a crucial match. Jacqueline Fernandes and Om Puri will also feature in relevant roles.
Dishoom also marks the comeback of Akshay Khanna to Bollywood after a hiatus of almost four years; Khanna will be playing the main antagonist. Stunning action sequences and the stellar cast makes this movie a must watch, so don't forget to catch the chase on July 29.

Nonsense, directed by
Sangeeth Sivan will see
Hate Story 3 couple Sharman Joshi and Zarine Khan share the screen once again. Ace stand-up comedian
Vir Das will be featured in a meaty role. Zarine plays a journalist while Joshi and Das will be seen playing NGO workers who unite warring families. Buzz has it that Comedy Circus fame Harsh Limbachiya will handle the screenplay of the movie.
Nonsense, which has elicited our interest with its unique cast, will release on July 29. We urge all comedy lovers to check out the movie.
