Celebrating 100 days in cinema of Bajirao Mastani!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's dream project, an epic love story of a ferocious Warrior Prince and a fierce Warrior Princess starring one of the hottest B-Town couples, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, has now completed 100 days in cinema! 

While the movie has already bagged the Best Film Award at Filmfare and ZeeCine Awards, it has also bagged 7 National Awards at the recently held 63rd National Film Awards at New Delhi. 

The story following the conquests in war and love of the leading pair Bajirao and his lady love Mastani was an instant hit with the audiences who loved the extravagant, vibrant and oh-so-typically Bhansali sets! The soundtrack and songs of the film took no time in climbing the charts to the very top.

"Malhaari", one of the most energetic and foot tapping songs of the year was seen playing at every Award function held this season. 

Not just the title pair, the audiences and critics loved Priyanka Chopra as the flighty and child-like Kaashi Bai whose character is seen evolving and maturing through the course of the film as she slowly accepts and later even fights for the undying love of Bajirao and Mastani.  

But there were no doubts about the film's success as it's dialogues echoed through the audiences as soon as it's trailer launched mid last year. While "Cheeteh Ki Chal, Baaz Ki Nazar Aur Bajirao Ki Talwar Par Sandeh Nahi Karte, Kabhi Bhi Maat De Sakti Hai.." garnered hoots and whistles from the crowds, "Hamare Dil Ek Saath Dhadakte Hai Mastani Aur Ek Saath Rukhte Bhi Hai" melted many-a-hearts and brought tears to many-a-eyes! 

From the costumes, the acting, the sets, the dialogues, the songs and even Sanjay Leela Bhansali's impeccable direction, iconic shots and the heart wrenching narrative, each frame of this epic makes us want to go "ahhh" in awe!
