BollyCurry
is here with a new set of wishes with another birthday just round the corner.
It is time to celebrate the D-day of one of the most charming and vivacious
actors that the industry has had the fortune to flaunt off,
Saqib Saleem.
Born on
April 8, 1988,
Saqib Saleem Qureshi is a model turned actor who has managed to
stand out in all his projects. Saleem was born to a Muslim family in Delhi. His
father Saleem Qureshi is a restauranteur while his mother Ameena Qureshi is a
home-maker. He is the brother of the veteran actress Huma Qureshi, and has two
other brothers.
After a
small stint in cricket, Saleem moved to Mumbai and began to feature in various
modelling assignments as well as notable television advertisements. He forayed into
Bollywood with his debut in Yash Raj Films' romantic comedy
Mujhse Fraaandhsip Karoge (2011), which
was declared a hit and Saleem was appreciated by the critics and the audiences
alike. He then appeared in another of YRF's comedy,
Mere Dad Ki Maruti (2013) along renowned actors such as
Ram Kapoor and
Ravi Kissen. This movie also did quite well on the commercial and critical
front. Saleem was next seen in the Indian anthology film
Bombay Talkies (2013) and
Hawaa
Hawaai (2014), the latter being a critical success and minting coins at
the box-office as well.
Saleem has
niched a carve for himself in the industry with his acting mettle and his next
venture Side Hero is being eagerly
awaited by the fans.
On this
birthday, here is a small playlist of the actor.
1. "Dheaon
Dheaon" - Mujhse Fraaandhsip Karoge
2. "Chu
Le" - Mujhse Fraaandhsip Karoge
We wish Saleem a very happy birthday
along with hoping that he manages to keep the audiences entertained with his allure
and acting proficiency.
