Life cannot be counted by the number of candles on
the cake, or the number of breaths we take. Yet today is a day when we, at
BollyCurry, light the candle of wishes to celebrate the birthdays of two
handsome hunks of Bollywood -
Imran Khan and
Adhyayan Suman.
Imran Khan was born on 13
th January 1983 to Anil Pal and Nuzhat Khan. He belongs to a family of film maestros, with Mr. Perfectionist
Aamir Khan and
director-producer Mansoor Khan being his uncles, and the veteran
director-producer Nasir Hussain being his grandfather. Khan studied direction and
screenwriting at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) in Los Angeles and pursued
acting at Kishore Namit Kapoor's
acting institute.
Khan's baby steps into the industry had been at a tender age, appearing as a child artist in movies like
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) and
Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, where he essayed
the role of a younger
Aamir Khan. But he didn't truly rise to fame until the 2008's hit rom-com
Jaane Tu Ya
Jaane Na, which was a critical and commercial success and won him
several
awards, including the prestigious Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Since then, he has starred in a number of films that have done well on
the box-office, like
I Hate Luv Storys (2010)
, Delhi Belly (2011)
, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) and
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012), among others.
On his birthday, BollyCurry brings to you a playlist
of some songs from his movies to get you grooving -
- "Dil Duffer" - Gori Tere Pyaar Mein
- "Pappu Can't Dance" - Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na
- "Bahara" - I Hate Luv Stories
- "Khudaya Ve" - Luck
- "Isq Risk" - Mere Brother Ki Dulhan
On
the other hand we have
Adhyayan Suman, another celebrity offspring, who
also celebrates his birthday today. Born on 13 January, 1988 in Mumbai
to
the renowned television personality
Shekhar Suman and his wife Alka
Suman, Adhyayan
Suman completed his schooling from Utpal Sanghvi School and London's
Millfield
Public School. He then decided to follow his father's footsteps and
saunter down the glamorous path of acting.
Suman made his Bollywood debut with the romantic flick
Haal E Dil (2008) directed by Anil Devgn, and recently starred in his father's medical thriller directorial
Heartless (2014)
opposite the debutante actress
Ariana Ayam. He has also worked in films like
Raaz - The Mystery Continues (2009) and
Jashnn (2010)
amongst a few others. His career graph may not have seen many ups, but
great things can be expected out of him in his upcoming projects.
On his birthday,
BollyCurry casts a glimpse upon a few songs from his movies -
- "Soniyo" -
Raaz: The Mystery
Continues
- "Main
Dhoondne Ko Zamaane Mein" - Heartless
- "Agg Lage Aj Kal De Fashion Nu" - Haal E Dil
- "Dard-e-Tanhai" - Jashnn
If the striking good
looks of these actors and their vibrancy onscreen is anything to go by, we can
happily say that life is indeed not measured by the number of candles, but in
the moments when these actors steal our breaths away. With this, we at
BollyCurry, wish them both a very happy birthday and a bright future ahead!
