Happy Birthday Jacqueline and Suniel Shetty!

Fernandes was born on 11th August, 1985 to a Sri Lankan father and a Malaysian-Canadian mother. She was born in Sri Lanka though was raised in Bahrain.

Fernandes started working as a TV reporter in Sri Lanka, reporting mainly on the political turmoil. However, she soon entered the Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant and was crowned in 2006, thus entering the modelling industry. The beauty then made her acting debut in Bollywood with the 2009 fantasy movie Aladin, where she played the role of Jasmine. While the movie did not do well, she received mixed reviews and also won the IIFA's Debut of the Year - Female and Stardust's Exciting New Face awards. She also starred in Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai in 2010 once again opposite Riteish Deshmukh, however the movie and her performance were both badly received. Murder 2 (2011) was the turning point in Fernandes' career when she finally received much praise by critics and viewers alike. After this, she starred in three more movies, all which did very well at the box office: Housefull 2 (2012), Race 2 (2013) and the recently released Kick (2014), the latter obtaining her high praise for her chemistry with Salman Khan. Fernandes currently has four films in her kitty, one opposite the superstar Hrithik Roshan.

Bollywood's Anna and veteran actor, Suniel Shetty was born to a Tulu-speaking Bunt family on 11th August, 1961 and was raised in Mulki, India. He is married to Mana Shetty and they have two children Athiya, born 5th November, 1992 and Ahan, born 15th January, 1996.

The superstar began his career with the 1992 movie Balwaan opposite the late Divya Bharti. The movie was successful at the box office establishing Shetty as an action hero. He had much success with films such as Dilwale (1994), Mohra (1994), Gopi Kishan (1994), Krishna (1996), Border (1997), Dhadkan (2000) and Hera Pheri (2000). In the 2000s, Shetty moved from solo hero movies to multi-starrers. He also moved into production launching Popcorn Motion Pictures Ltd, which produced Khel - No Ordinary Game (2003), Rakht: What If You Can See the Future (2004) and Bhagam Bhag (2006) in Bollywood as well as the Tamil film 12B (2001) and English film Don't Stop Dreaming (2007). Over the past few years, Shetty's career has declined with many of his films failing to impress at the box office. Apart from production and acting, he  also hosted Biggest Loser Jeetega on Sahara One and is the captain of the Mumbai Heroes cricket team in the Celebrity Cricket League. Shetty has won the Zee Cine Best Actor Award for Border (1997), Filmfare Best Villain Award and Zee Cine Best Supporting Actor Award for Dhadkan (2000), and SAIFF Best Actor Award and Stardust Search Light Award for Best Actor for Red Alert: The War Within (2010).
