Happy Birthday Sanjay Dutt and Hard Kaur!

Sanjay Balraj Dutt was born on 29th July to veteran actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt in Mumbai and was educated at the Lawrence School near Kasauli. He debuted in Reshma Aur Shera (1972) as a child artist but his major breakthrough wasn't until his debut movie Rocky (1980). After that, there was no stopping him as he starred in one movie after another which included Main Awaara Hoon (1983), Jeeva (1986), Imaandar (1987),Hum Bhi Insaan Hain (1989) and Taaqatwaar (1989) and the award winning Saajan (1991). Initially Dutt started his career as a romantic hero, but gradually moved on to action-packed movies such as Sadak (1991), and Khalnayak (1993).

After a small hiatus Dutt managed to deliver successful movies such as Khoobsurat (1999) and Daag (1999) but the role of Raghu in the film Vaastav: The Reality is where he achieved much praise and he even went on to with the Filmfare. Following that, his role of Inayat Khan in Mission Kashmir (2000) was also critically acclaimed.

Dutt's glorious run continued in the new century with Jodi No-1 (2001), Pitaah (2002), Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), and Parineeta (2005). The film Munna Bhai MBBS became so popular that it was remade in Tamil and Telugu and a sequel to it Lage Raho Munnabhai was released in 2006. Later on he did movies like Double Dhamaal (2011) and the role of Kancha Cheena in Agneepath (2012) alongside Hrithik Roshan.

In regards to his personal life Dutt married thrice. He married Richa Sharma in 1987 who died of brain tumor in 1996. The couple have a daughter named Trishala. After that he married Rhea Pillai in 1998 but their marriage ended in 2005. He later married Maanayata in 2008 with whom he has twins Shahraan and Iqra.

Dutt's last release was Zanjeer (2013) and currently he is working in Ungli and P.K. (2014)

Hard Kaur was born on 29th July 1979 as Taran Kaur Dhillon in Kanpur. She lost her father at a very young age. Her mother ran a beauty parlor to run the family.Due to certain circumstances her mother's beauty parlor got burnt. Her paternal grandparents asked her mother to move from the village and kept her brother with him. Kaur and her mother moved to Hoshiarpur and stayed with their maternal grandparents. Her mother remarried a British citizen and moved to Birmingham, London.

Kaur did her schooling and gradually developed her interest towards music. She has been often credited as first female rapper. She recorded her first song "Ek Glassy", which released in 2007 in the UK. Kaur worked in movies like Bachhna Ae Haseeno (2008), Kismat Konnection (2008) and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009). She released her debut album Supawomen in 2007, followed by Party Loud All Year P.L.A.Y in October 2012. She is currently working in Babloo Happy Hai (2014).
