Happy Birthday Kajal Aggarwal

Today BollyCurry gathers along with all the fans in order to celebrate the birthday of a graceful and beautifully talented actress; one who is a well known face of South India and has appeared in a few Hindi films too. Guessed yet? We're talking about none other than the gorgeous Kajal Aggarwal.

Born in Mumbai to Vinay and Suman Aggarwal, Aggarwal is the elder sister of Nisha Aggarwal, a well known South Indian actress. Aggarwal studied at St. Anne's High School and Jai Hind College in Mumbai and graduated with a degree in Mass Media from K.C. College in Mumbai.

Aggarwal started her career with modelling and debuted in 2004 with a small role in Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na as Diya's (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) friend. Her first lead role was in Teja's Telugu film Lakshmi Kalyanam in 2007. Although the film did not do well at the Box Office, her performance was appreciated. In the same year, she appeared in the blockbuster Chandamama and following her performance in the historical drama Magadheera, the pretty lass appeared in successful Telugu and Tamil films such as Darling (2010), Naan Mahaan Alla (2010), Brindavanam (2010) and Mr. Perfect (2011).

After seven years, Aggarwal returned to Hindi films with the blockbuster Singham (2011). Cast opposite Ajay Devgn, she portrayed the role of Kavya, a bubbly and naughty girl. The role won her two awards: the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut.

Following her successful stint in Bollywood, Aggarwal continued to appear in other Telugu and Tamil films such as Businessman (2012), Maattrraan (2012), Thuppakki (2012), Sarocharu (2012), Naayak (2013). She also starred in the critically acclaimed Special 26 (2013) opposite Akshay Kumar portraying a specially written role of Ajay Singh's (Kumar) love interest.
