Bollywood, the world that many dream to be a part of and once they're in, very little else matters. Many of the stars enter the industry without completing their education because of the exciting offers they receive, whereas there are some who set their foot in this field after completing their education. BollyCurry brings to you a list of Bollywood stars who have pursued higher education.

Amitabh Bachchan is a multi-talented superstar, no doubts about that. He is also the perfect example to start off this list. Son of the renowned author and poet, the late Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Big B graduated from Sherwood College in Nainital and later went on to completing a double major in Science and Arts from the Kirori Mal College in New Delhi. Thereafter, he moved to Mumbai to enter the glam world and boy, are we glad for that or what?!

The Ishaqzaadi Parineeti Chopra, who made her debut with the movie Ladies vs Ricky Behl, didn't want to be an actor to begin with. Her dream was to always become an investment banker. To pursue that dream, she studied at Manchester Business School in the UK where she graduated with a triple honours degree in Business, Economics and Finance! Kudos, Pari!

The be-dimpled Ayushmann Khurrana of Vicky Donor fame, has not only majored in English Literature, but also has achieved a Masters degree in Mass Communication from the School of Communication, Punjab University in Chandigarh. No wonder he connects well with audiences around the world!

The ever bubbly and effervescent Preity Zinta has to have the most interesting degree combinations. After having received an honours degree in English, she went onto earn a postgraduate degree in Criminal Psychology! A bit awe-inspiring and slightly intimidating, if you ask us.

R. Madhavan is one of the very few South-Indian stars to have carved a niche for himself in Bollywood. The 3 Idiots fame actor is not only a graduate in Electronics but has also been a winner of the Maharashtra Best Cadet title! Can someone say "woah!"?

Soha Ali Khan may not appear on the big screen as often as we'd like, but she certainly has an educational background to keep everyone on their toes. After attending the British School in New Delhi, she went on to complete her undergraduate at the Balliol College, Oxford, UK. She is also an alumnus of the London School of Economics, where she received a masters degree in International Relations and Political Science. Beauty with sheer brains, right here.

The ever so handsome hunk John Abraham not only has a body to die for, but is also quiet the smarty pants. He has a bachelors degree in Economics from Jai Hind College and a masters degree in Management Sciences.

The fashionista of Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor went to the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore for her schooling and achieved an International Baccalaureate Diploma. She also studied Political Science and Economics from the University of East London.
