All
that glitters is not gold, sometimes it's beyond precious. A
commendable example of the same are our tinsel town stars, who are
worthy of much more love than the remuneration they receive. This week,
celebrating the National Payroll Week,
BollyCurry brings
to you the names of those actors and actresses who enjoy the privilege
of grabbing a position amongst the highest paid stars per movie.

The name topping the list is none other than
Mr Perfectionist of
Bollywood -
Aamir Khan. Khan's innovative ideas and creatively written,
unique concepts is what sets him apart from the others in the industry.
Until recently, his movie
3 Idiots held the record of being
the movie with the 'Highest Gross Earnings'. This fact helps neglect the
amusement which clouds the air upon revelation of his fees being Rs. 40
Crore per movie, and Rs. 4 Crore for just an endorsement.
Salman Khan, the actor with a
Dabangg style
and an impeccable body, managed to woo his fans with the magic of his
smile alone. He stars in three to four movies within a year, all of
which do tremendously well on the box office. Last year,
Ek Tha Tiger broke
several records, creating some praiseworthy milestones. Khan charges
Rs. 23-30 Crore for one movie and Rs. 1.5 Crore per day for endorsing
any product. In the year 2013, he is one actor with the highest earnings
coming from brand endorsements, including his movies.

The
King of Bollywood needs no introduction in words: his numbers speak of
his hard work and dedication as it is. Surprising everyone, Shah Rukh
Khan's latest venture
Chennai Express broke several records,
becoming the movie with the Highest Gross Earnings - Rs. 220 Crore. Khan
is selective of his movies and chooses to act in only one or two each
year. Nevertheless, he earns a major portion from the brands he
endorses, charging Rs. 2-3 Crore per endorsement. His fee per movie is
that of around Rs. 20-25 Crore (shares in profit included).

Next spot on the list is occupied by the
Khiladi Akshay
Kumar, who chooses to act in about three to four movies in a year.
Action and comedy remain his forte as he charges Rs. 20-22 Crore for
each movie. As far as brand endorsement is concerned, his fee amounts to
Rs. 1.5-2 Crore roughly.

Ranbir
Kapoor, the actor keen on experimenting with his roles and a patron of
versatility, had an initial fee for a movie amounted to Rs. 8
Crore. However, after the incredible success of
Barfi!, the price
just had to be hiked to Rs. 15 Crore. Apart from the movies, he earns
about Rs. 1.5-2 Crore from every brand he endorses.

Coming to the females, stars are definitely shining in the favor of the former Miss World Priyanka
Chopra. Actress turned singer, Chopra is at the peak of her career with
her movies doing commercially well, along with her songs splashing the
musical charts. She was signed for the remake of
Zanjeer at a fee of Rs. 9 Crore, making her the highest paid Bollywood actress.

A
name that rules the endorsement world would be that of Mrs. Khan. Post
her marriage,
Kareena Kapoor Khan's fame increased exponentially. The
actress signed Madhur Bhandarkar's
Heroine for a colossal amount
of Rs. 8 Crore, while also endorsing each product for Rs. 3 Crore. K3 is
considered as one of the priciest actress, given her brilliant acting
graph.

This
next actress on the list may have been missing from action for quite
some time, but
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is still a name to reckon with.
Her international popularity only glorifies her achievements here in
Bollywood. She charged about Rs. 6 Crore for the movie
Robot, and takes Rs. 4 Crore for a product endorsement. As news has it, she's making a comeback next year with a Sriram Raghavan movie.

The
Barbie doll of Bollywood,
Katrina Kaif's sojourn has been one with all
the ups and downs. She is now considered as one of the top league
actresses in the industry. Kaif's fee amounts to Rs. 3-4 Crore, while
she is paid Rs. 4 Crore for endorsing a product. Her upcoming movies
Dhoom 3 and
Bang Bang are expected be bonus cookies to her already rising career.

This dusky beauty is enjoying much success in a continued streak, starting with
Cocktail, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and then the extremely popular
Chennai Express. Deepika
Padukone has become one of the most popular actresses today and her
price hike is soon to be expected. At the moment, she charges Rs. 3
Crore for a movie and Rs. 2.5 Crore for endorsements.
BollyCurry is signing off for now, but definitely let us know whether you think that these stars are being over/under priced.
