Happy Birthday Sonu Niigam!

Today, a man who has stolen millions of hearts with his soulful voice, turns 39 years old! Sonu Niigam was born on July 30, 1973 in Fariadabad, Haryana.

Niigam first sang at the age of four, alongside his father Agam Kumar Niigam, to Mohammad Rafi's song, 'Kya Huaa Tera Vaada'. Followed by that, he was given the opportunity to continue to sing at wedding and several occasions. At the age of 19, Niigam moved to Mumbai with his father and began his singing career.

From singing Rafi covers, to making radio commercials, Sonu has done it all before he reached the peaks of success! After having hosted the popular singing competition, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1995, he was seen singing 'Acha Sila Diya' for the movie Bewafa Sanam.

His very first major success is considered to be the song composed with Anu Malik, Sandese Aate Hai from the movie Border in 1997.
