Children were his main motive to start the charitable fund called Being Human.
It started as a small charity organization and is now an extremely
popular foundation that helps children with their education and
healthcare. With his concept of direct charity, he has also launched
many Being Human stores worldwide.
A gem of a person from the heart, Aishwarya Rai
Rachchan is a very charitable person. She has donated her eyes to the
eye bank association in India and has also started a foundation in her
name to help the poor and needy. In 2009, she was roped in as the first
Goodwill Ambassador of Smile Train, an international organization that provides free cleft lip and palate surgery to children in need.
John Abraham loves animals and has supported
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in numerous campaigns. John is also involved with
Habitat for Humanity,
an annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project. A volunteer for many
years, he has helped raise funds for low-income families in India to
build safe, decent and affordable homes.
In 2010, Piggy Chops was appointed as the UNICEF
(United Nations) National Ambassador to support Indian children and
their right to go to school and be educated. She has actively spoken
about children's rights and has helped create awareness about the same

Mijwan has been set up with the purpose of helping underprivileged children secure their future.
Mijwan is
a village in UP, India, where the established actress has set up a
school, college, computer center, and a sewing and chikankari center.
Today, it organizes several fund-raising activities; one such event was
the recently held Mijwan Celebrity Fashion Show.
Rahul Bose is a part of many charities and has made
many contributions to charity auctions for various causes. He has
organized many charitable concerts to help the poor and needy.
The Foundation
is the actor's endeavor to assist and support several causes and
campaigns that prophesies a "world without discrimination". He is also
an
Oxfam campaigner, and has actively worked for the relief and
rehabilitation of people in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Involving
with Teach for India Movement and Spastics Society of India are several

The superstar recently launched Jenaration which
is an online bidding scheme where celebrities put up their clothes for
sale and the proceeds would be used for educational purposes. He is also
taking part in many notable UNICEF campaigns, one of which is to make
India a polio free nation.
SRK has an NGO called Make a Wish Foundation,
which works on the wishes of needy children and makes their wishes come
true. He has been closely involved with this NGO and has consistently
come to help them out whenever they have approached him. The Department
for Children with Cancer in the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai has also
been founded by SRK in the name of his parents who passed away due to
this illness.
Vivek Oberoi is known to support social causes close
to his heart and the cause of cancer patients is surely one of them.
Vivek supports these causes with his charity foundation called
Yashodhara Oberoi,
named after his mother. He is also recognized for his charity work
towards health, education and disaster relief, by featuring in the
prestigious Forbes Asian Heroes of Philanthropy list. Vivek is the
youngest individual and the only Bollywood actor acknowledged in the
listing.
