The movies released this Friday couldn't be any more different in
genre as they are. If one movie is the comedy of errors in the form of
Nauntanki Saala!, the other named
Commando-One Man Army
is about a
Commando thrashing away all the obstacles coming in his way.
Though the content of the films are poles apart let's see if their BO
collections are the same or not?
Rohan Sippy's comedy movie
Nautanki Saala!
marks the return of
Ayushmann Khurrana on the big screen doing what he
does best - entertain. The movie got mixed to

positive reviews and
opened up well in the multiplexes, earning over 3.25 crores on the
opening day. Over the weekend, the film collected up to 12 crores. And
since the movie has a moderate budget of 15 crores, it is pretty safe to
assume that this movie is a sure shot hit at the Box Office.
Commando-A One Man Army
which stars the current hunk Vidyut Jamwal in the leading role, also
gained mixed to positive reviews from the critics. The movie is a
typical action-drama, targeted towards the audience who loves to see a
guy annihilating everything that comes his way. And surely, the movie
has done well in single screens going neck to neck over the weekend with
its competitor. The movie earned 3.75 crores on its opening day and by
the end of the weekend, its collection ended at 11.04 crores.
Overall
it was a moderate week at the Box Office when both of its releases did
average business! Two movies without any huge star to back them up,
solely on the basis of script and the entertainment value they have to
offer, managed to make the producers happy by rolling in some serious
moolah.
The genres of the movies are as different as chalk and cheese but both
of them managed to go neck to neck all weekend. We at BollyCurry give
you liberty to choose whichever movie suits your taste because judging
by these BO reports, it's going to be worth your time and money.
