Happy Birthday Sajid Nadiadwala

February 18^th marks the birthday of producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Born in 1966, Sajid turns 47 this year and will enter a new innings in the wonderful career he has has till date.

Originally a lawyer, Sajid started work as a production assistant in his uncle's production house. Soon thereafter, he began a production house of his own called Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd. This company has presented many blockbuster super hits to the audience like Jeet in 1996, Judwa in 1997, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega in 2000 and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi in 2004. Unexpectedly, the more hyped films like Jaan-e-man, Kambakkht Ishq, Anjaana Anjaani and Teri Meri Kahaani didn't click with the audience even after having a star studded cast.

Perhaps the movies that Sajid is really well known for are the instant hit series of Heyy Babyy, Housefull and its sequel Housefull 2. These 3 movies helped enhance his company's reputation and put it in the running with other big production houses. It is believed that his collaboration with actors Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan is more successful than with any other actor. And history sure agrees, as any of his movies with either of the actors have proved to be vastly successful.

Currently, he is busy shooting for his upcoming venture Kick, a remake which he is all set to direct as well. The film is scheduled to go on floors in April this year and has Salman Khan in the lead role. Nadiadwala married actress Divya Bharti in 1992 but things changed after her sudden death in 1993. Later, he married former journalist Wardha Khan and the couple had two sons, Subhan and Sufian. He is surely a successful man in both his profession and personal life and we hope it stays the same always.
