B-Town's first release starts off with a bang with
Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola
starring
Imran Khan and
Anushka Sharma. The trailers of this comedy along with
Anushka's surprising, bold avatar have become the talk of the town. Set
in Haryana,
Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is a bizarre story, as
stated by director
Vishal Bhardwaj. The plot revolves around a wealthy
industrialist, Harry (
Pankaj Kapoor), his daughter Bijlee (Anushka
Sharma) and
Harry's "man friday" (
Imran Khan). Bijlee is ready to marry Badaal (Arya
Babber), who happens to the son of a politician (
Shabana Azmi). You
would think everything would be simple, but apparently not and that is
the plot of the movie! Don't forget to
see how this story unfolds just two weeks into the New Year on January
11
th,
2013.

If
Race caught you
by surprise, then get ready for thriller numero 2!
Race 2, the sequel to 2008's
Race,
stars
Saif Ali Khan,
John Abraham,
Anil Kapoor,
Deepika Padukone,
Jacqueline
Fernandez, and
Ameesha Patel. The Bengali beauty,
Bipasha Basu is to
have a
cameo in the sequel. The trailers have been quite the buzz and if you
haven't heard the chart-topper "Party on my Mind", then you know what
you should be doing soon! This action - suspense
will hit the silver screen on January 25
th, 2013.

Next up is
Akshay Kumar's first release of the year,
Special Chabbis. This venture also stars
Kajal Aggarwal,
Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and
Anupam Kher. The film is based
on the wicked robbery of March 19
th, 1987 where 26 individuals posed
as government officials and robbed multiple jewelers worth hundreds of
thousands. This drama is set to release
days before Valentines Day - February 8
th, 2013.

ABCD -
Anybody Can
Dance is the next directorial venture from the ace choreographer, Remo D'Souza. Multiple
Dance
India Dance fames will be seen setting the screen on fire.
Prabhu Deva, Kay
Kay Menon and
Ganesh Acharya are said to have pivotal roles in the movie. The
plot takes you through the journey of Vishnu (
Prabhu Deva) who lives to dance.
However, due to certain circumstances, he decides to leave dancing forever. Moments
before he gives up on dancing totally, he discovers a batch of fresh talent. He then takes a stand to turn this
crew into India's best. Rumor mills have it that director D'Souza has already
planned for a sequel even before the release of this prequel.
A risky yet passionate move we must say.
Tagged as "India's first 3D Dance Film," this musical will dance its way to theaters on February 8
th, 2013.

When it's a year of sequels and thrillers, how can the
Murder franchise stay behind? Mahesh Bhatt presents
Murder 3 starring
Randeep Hooda,
Aditi Rao Hydari and debutante Mona
Laizza. The first look poster was revealed on expected D-Day, December
21
st with the release of
Dabangg
2. Rumors have it that the film is based on American horror film
Jennifer's Body. The tagline states
This Valentine, Love will be murdered. Will
you go catch this horrific murder film on Feburary 15
th, 2013?

Based on Chetan Bhagat's
The
3 Mistakes of My Life,
Kai Po Che!
Marks the debut of small screen's heartthrob,
Sushant Singh Rajput. The
handsome hunk will share the frame with Raj Kumar Yadav,
Amit Sadh and Amrita
(seen in
Aisha). Directed by
Abhishek Kapoor, this film
explores friendship like never before. Fans will have to wait a tad bit for
this one as
Kai Po Che! is scheduled
to hit theaters on February 22
nd, 2013.

March 8
th will see the return of
Saheb, Biwi aur
Gangster with a sequel. The old star cast consisting of
Jimmy Shergill, Mahie
Gill and
Randeep Hooda will remain apart of the follow-on. Irrfan Khan and Soha
Ali Khan have also been roped in for part 2.
Saheb, Biwi aur Gangster was
applauded by critics for its provoking and strong story line - will part two have the same outcome? To find out, catch

Continuing the trends of sequels, Balaji Motion Pictures and
White Feather Films are ready to set the screen on fire with
Shootout at Wadala. This venture will
see
John Abraham,
Anil Kapoor,
Kangana Ranaut,
Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpai, Ronit
Roy,
Mahesh Manjrekar and
Tusshar Kapoor . It is said to be based on
Dongri to Dubai - Six Decades of The
Mumbai Mafia, a book written by S. Hissain
Zaidi. Rumors also have it that 'Desi girl'
Priyanka Chopra will be seen dancing
on an item number. Catch this crime film on May 1
st, 2013!
Ranbir Kapoor and
Deepika Padukone fans have a reason to
rejoice as this stunning pair makes a comeback on the big screen with Dharma
Productions'
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koehlin will also be seen in the film playing
pivotal roles. Ayan Mukherji directs
this romance film and Pritam will serve as the music director. This venture will be hitting the big screen on May 31
st,
2013.
