The month of
November brings celebrations throughout the world and this special month
is looked forward to by many for numerous reasons. The unique and
scintillating culture of Lucknow awaits till the end of the month to
celebrate a very important festival, named Lucknow Festival. During the
festival, various traditional dishes are put on display as Lucknow is
said to be particularly famous for it's lip-smacking cuisines. While
talking about food, BollyCurry brings you dishes named after our
favorite Bollywood Celebrities.

When
someone says 'size zero' in relation to Bollywood, the first person to
pop in our heads is the gorgeous
Kareena Kapoor. However, this diva has a
special love for the decadently fattening Pizza! Pizza is her guilty
pleasure ,so when an Italian joint in Delhi innovated a new pizza,
'
Kareena Kapoor Size-Zero Pizza' inspired from the superstar, Kareena
was flattered. The size zero pizza is a thin crust pizza with toppings
of finely diced chicken, red chilies, baby corn, onions and low fat
cheese.

Gorgeous
face, svelte figure and flawless skin. The dish named after this has to
be something healthy. Confectioner Divya Ranglani made a special cake
for
Sonam Kapoor's birthday which later came to be called the 'Sonam
Special'. A mango blueberry cake, healthy ingredients like oatmeal and
real fruits are used in its preparation and its baked without any
preservative or extra sugar.

If
you've ever been to the famous suburban restaurant, Urban Tadka, in
Mumbai, you must have come across a dish called
Om Puri Ka Mutton
Saagwala. History tells us that this actor, who lives nearby, visited
often and this dish was his favorite, thus being named after him.

The
trend of dishes named after Bollywood celebrities continues, and next
is the Kancha of Bollywood,
Sanjay Dutt, who has a dish named "Sanju
Baba Chicken" after him. This dish was innovated from the recipe given
by Dutt himself to a restaurant in the by-lanes of Mumbai.

Last
but not the least on the list is our Jalebi Bai,
Mallika Sherawat, who
launched her very own milkshake, named 'Mallika Shake'. The shake
consist of various berries like blueberries, raspberries, blackberries,
strawberries with chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream.
So,
here you have the list of dishes named after Bollywood stars.. Which
starry dish do want to sink your teeth into? If you were given a chance
to have a dish named after you, what would it be?
