Australian born Indian actress
Pallavi Sharda, who has played small roles in movies like
My Name Is Khan and
Love BreakUps Zindagi, is reportedly finalised to play the lead role in
Ranbir Kapoor starrer
Besharam. Parineeti Chopra was earlier considered for this role in Abhinav Kashyap's directorial venture.

Pallavi
will play the role of a typical Delhi girl. She is confident that she
can easily carry off the role as her parents are from Delhi and because
she already knows how to speak in Hindi. Furthermore, she is extremely
excited about working with her favorite hero and said she loved his
performance in
Barfi.
Pallavi
is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and loves Bollywood movies for their
dance. And is apparently looking forward to doing 'latkas and jhatkas' in
her upcoming movie.
If you're
wondering how this lass developed a liking for Bollywood movies, she
admitted that her parents made her watch Hindi films in Australia to
keep her in touch with her roots.She further adds that impressed by
Bollywood movies, she decided to become an actress at the age of 3.
Despite being laughed off by her parents, she remained firm on her goal.
Pallavi
is a big fan of Sridevi and was called Pallavi Devi by friends and
family. She said that she is looking forward to watching the diva's
comeback movie English Vinglish.
