Well don't stop just yet, because this part continues to make you drip by the litre size as we bring you to the second part of our spine-chilling, raw-nerve hitting list of Hollywood's psychological thrillers cum horrific slasher movies and their menacing characters! See which Bollywood A-list star we drag out of the bag this time to showcase as our potential replacement and turn into our favourite serial-killer. Brace yourselves for a second round of even more fright-worthy terror, and join in with the countdown of the top 10 Hollywood horror movies with the Bollywood counterparts.

We have carefully selected a rounded list which narrows down to ten spontaneously disturbing movies in Hollywood overall, and although there are one far too many, we have tried our level best to let you cringe your way down to number 1 and finally break out into that sweat we promised you throughout this month!

7. Scream (1996)

When a spree of high school murders occur suddenly, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) suspects boyfriend Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich) to be the killer, but her suspicions divert onto her father when Billy is taken into police custody following her complaint, and the murders continue. The killer disguises himself with the mask of a 'ghost face' and torments his victims by calling them on the phone and quizzing them of past horror movies, and bargains the life of loved ones if answered incorrectly. This movie was a pleasant blend of satire and comedy alongside being partially based on the real-life Gainesville murders committed by Daniel Rolling. Scream began a whole new era of post-modern teen slasher movies, and is currently the highest-grossing slasher movie in the United States. It seems this movie let audiences enjoy the more classic conventions of horror on a whole new level, while uncovering the mystery of the actual killer and a clever twist of the victims having knowledge of the do's and don't's that belong in this genre. Others could literally 'scream' at the gore and brutality that Wes Craven was brave enough to display - and also buy! Movies containing high content of gore were initially hard to sell at the time, but this genre took a turn for the best when known actors such as Drew Barrymore opted to star in the movie by request, and let audiences enjoy a scary movie with recognizable faces, which was usually uncommon in the horror genre back then.

"What's your favourite cast for this movie?" The choice of stars became slightly difficult with this one, as stars with younger and more fresher looks are in demand. However, we'd rather not stick to the usual suspects with the typical chocolate boy looks and bring to the table a cast more significantly interesting. For Sidney Prescott, we have Parineeti Chopra who could create the student with a boyfriend she'd hate to suspect in the form of TV's own Sushant Singh Rajput as Billy Loomis. We all know this young star in his early rising will bring tremors across our screens to see him play the young kid looking for revenge from everyone that indirectly ruined his life - now wouldn't that be a new dimensional side for our small screen hero! And finally, for Billy's accomplice Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard), we figured Prateik Babbar would be the perfect star to play the guy with a useless motive of 'peer pressure'. How's that for a new star-cast with recognizable faces?!

6. American Psycho (2000)

This story moves along the narration of Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale), a handsome, intelligent, 27-year old investment banker on Wall Street who pursues a luxury lifestyle while earning a fortune to compliment the one he inherited. However, by nightfall this hunk doesn't intrigue himself with the finer fantasies other men often do! His curiosity for experimental violence and fear transcend him into insanity, and a hatred for the world encourages his madness to commit murders in secret. However, the fine line separating his two lifestyles begins to fade quickly when he begins to lose control over his sadistic urge, and openly confesses to murders in general talks which go unnoticed due to his casual behaviour. American Psycho probably contains some of the most gruesome content imaginable and it's amazing how we see this psycho as Bale, who was in one word 'fantastic'; but his drawer full of medical implements was certainly not - if you've seen this film, you'll know just what we mean.

Time for our B-town psycho and this one is fairly obvious! Someone as hot and talented as Bale has to be Hrithik Roshan. We've seen him switch emotions and roles effortless in movies Fiza and Mission Kashmir, where Roshan became enraged within moments and was filled with hatred toward the man who raised him despite being the killer of his family. The act Roshan adopted in those scenes gathered the potential to split two individual personalities within the same person, and that involves a lot of talent - which Roshan clearly has.

Quote it: "I think my mask of sanity is about to slip."

Tagline: Don't fall for the man with a big inheritance and good looks, his idea of a 'night in' might be slightly different to yours.

5. Se7en (1995)

Se7en is one of the most strategic serial-killing movies out there; a visceral psycho John Doe (Kevin Spacey) with a twisted agenda, executing the perfect diabolical plan is by far one of the most scariest thoughts ever. This man truly believes he is fighting for something by justifying his killings as absolution by finding seven victims who are the finest examples to mankind for representing the ignorance of the Seven Deadly Sins: gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, pride, lust and envy. On his trail are two homicide detectives William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) and David Mills (Brad Pitt), who without the faintest clue are too compelled into representing one of the sins by the end. Although the killings in this movie are - in simple words - nasty, one cannot deny the psychological thrill of discovering what Doe had lined up for every sin - that too without leaving any fingerprints at the murder scenes which he achieved by peeling off the skin on his fingertips. And if you've seen this movie, you'll also know that nobody was expecting Doe to deliberately become a victim of his own plan, but we also have to admit that his clever way of conveying it so confidently was sheer brilliance.

So now we have an interesting role on our hands here. Who could possibly play John Doe as sincerely as Spacey?! It would have to most definitely be perfectionist Aamir Khan, his psychotic talent was well received in the remake of Momento as Ghajini, and there's no doubt that someone who could be as shrewd and passionate on screen at the same time is none other than Khan. For the homicide detectives we'd have Somerset as Ajay Devgn for his senior abilities to be a part of a Bollywood movie without the common involvement of a love interest while aiding a short-tempered Mills in the form of Vivek Oberoi, who we've seen numerous times already as the bad guy playing the good guy with anger management issues.

4. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

A Nightmare on Elm Street is exactly what this film offers, when the children of Elm Street become the tired victims of a clawed killer named Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund), who was arrested for the murder of children years ago, but upon his undue release the enraged parents burnt him alive. He now hangs loose in the dreams of his chosen victims after accepting a deal with three demons, who offer him eternal life and power in exchange to merge within him - hence giving birth to the Freddy we all love. Why do we love to love Freddy? Well it's probably because of his terrifying humor that sets him apart from other killers in his league of master slashers, alongside his sadistic joy in the form of one-liners.

No matter what we do, the inevitable is certain and sleep must come to us all, and the person that could be responsible for our sleepless nights in B-town would be Nana Patekar, who could menace precisely as our most characteristic Freddy Krueger. A little obvious was it? We thought so too, but with his height, build, and fierce uncertainty that shines right across his face with a touch of that delicate humorous side to his character, we think we have a earnest Freddy ready for our Bollywood screens.
