Fakri - New film by Farhan

After the success of their films circling around the theme of friendship, the famous duo of Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are back with another buddy-based film titled Fakri.

Known for producing films such as Dil Chahta Hai, Rock On!!, and the most recent, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara; the pair have come together once again to return with their fourth film.

Sidhwani started his journey as a producer and collaborated with Farhan as a director with the hit film Dil Chahta Hai in the year 2001. The movie looked at the relation of friendship from a rarely touched angle in the Indian Film Industry and the audience, along with the critics, made the film a success. The story traced the simple yet compelling journey of three friends, their lives, and the ultimate aim of finding the purpose of their lives.

Some years later, the pair returned with their other friendship dramas such as Rock On!! and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which were equally loved and accepted by the audience.

Fakri's story will be based in Delhi, and very little is known of the script besides the fact that the movie will touch upon the subject of students from Uttar Predesh and their journey.
