Happy birthday, Alka Yagnik!

March 20th marked the birthday of the melodious playback singer, Alka Yagnik. The phenomenal singer celebrated her 47th birthday this year. She has been one of the most prominent playback singers after the magical sister duo of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. She has lent her melodic voice to almost all of the biggest names in the industry, such as Karisma Kapur, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit, to name a few. Even though recently, she has been on a bit of a hiatus as newer talents have evolved, her contribution to Indian Cinema will remain with us forever.
