Vidya Balan escapes accident

The 'Ooh-la-la' actress, Vidya Balan managed to escape a capricious accident on the sets of her upcoming flick Kahaani. While filming for one of the scenes of the film, Vidya apparently lost her balance after bumping into a weighing machine and almost fell on the railway tracks at a Kolkata metro station!

 

Auspiciously, the director and co-producer Sujoy Ghosh was present and acted quickly to save the actress. Apparently, after witnessing the incident, he quickly came to her rescue and prevented her from falling. Vidya was not hurt in any way and gamely continued shooting everything was brought under control.

 

Kahaani is a drama-thriller, in which Vidya Balan plays a role of a pregnant woman who is frantically searching for her missing husband and the father of her child. The film is slotted to be released on 9 March 2012.
