Canada's
largest city, Toronto, will be seen playing host to Bollywood's greatest
stars this year, what with the much

publicized Indian International
Film Academy Awards (IIFA) being held in the same city. The awards,
which are scheduled to be held from June 23-25, looks to honor it's
finest films and stars and even plans to showcase few of B-Town's
selected and much loved films. Almost all big-wigs from the film
fraternity, barring the Bachchan family, is said to be present at this
big event.
Canada,
being primarily a country encompassing people of Indian origin, saw the
tickets for this much awaited event sell out completely in merely
a day's time. According to organizers, more than 22,000 people are
expected to attend the awards function which will be beamed
internationally to over 700 million people.
The three day show shall open with Salman Khan's debut production,
Chillar Party,
a warm light-hearted comedy revolving around seven children hailing
from different backgrounds of society. We hear, that as many as 20
Bollywood films are to be displayed in this film festival, with
Chak De India,
Dil Toh Pagal Hai,
Hera Pheri and
Dabangg
being few of the selected ones. Popular choreographer,
Shiamak Davar,
who even happens to be a Canadian citizen, is said to choreograph the
event.
Well, with most of Bollywood gracing Toronto, B-wood lovers in the city definitely have something to look forward too!
