Fear Factor returns, so does Akki!

Not really long ago, rumors of Salman Khan hosting the upcoming season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, were doing rounds around both Bollywood and Tellydom. But, here to give a the rumors a rest is B-town's original khiladi, Akshay Kumar. Yes, Akki is to keep hold of his role as host of Fear Factor season 4! 

Moreover, if buzz is to be believed, he has also agreed to chop down his compensation for the adventurous show. It has been said that hosting this show, which was being eyed by Sallu for quite a while now, had almost become a prestige issue for Akki. Hence why the stunts lover agreed to host this season at a much lower price. 

And just to put a halt to all those thinking of this as another 'rumor', the promo of the show has already been shot and has been aired on the channel Colors as well. 

Though Akshay is happy the channel finalized on him, the feat would not have been as easy if it hadn't been for his son Aarav Initially, the show was slated to be shot sometime around August this year, but was pushed a little ahead of it's schedule to the last week of April; and that is where the problem precisely lies.

Around this time, Akki usually takes his family for an annual small vacation as his son's school takes a break during April-May. It is for this very reason Akshay was put in a dilemma in regards to juggling dates for this long outdoor shoots and his family. It was then when Aarav stepped in and cleverly solved the problem by asking his father if he could accompany him to the shoots in South Africa.

So, with the immense love, support and presence of his family, Akshay will start shooting for KKK4 in South Africa at the end of this month.
