Dinner Breaks the Ice

Milan Luthria has been busy with his leading stars for The Dirty Picture, Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan, in an attempt to make them more comfortable with each other.

Besides an introduction between the two, there hasn't been much interaction yet. To put these two at ease with each other, director Luthria has taken the decision to call them over to get the actors to interact a bit more over a typical Parsi dinner.

Apparently, both actors know Luthria's wife and asked for Parsi food. Since Luthria's mother-in-law is a fabulous chef with a specialty in Parsi food, he decided to invite the duo over for one spectacular meal!

In the film, Vidya's character is an actress while Emraan's character is a filmmaker. Just hearing that, one figures that they would have a very good relationship in the movie. But, in fact, it is the very opposite with both not able to stand each other at all due to opposing moral and world views.

Usually, Luthria likes to maintain privacy at home and not invite people from the fraternity over. However, in this case, he felt that the breach of privacy was warranted. He really wants his leads to portray good chemistry and not be awkward when it comes to shooting together.

Here's hoping that the dinner party is successful and we some great chemistry from the two in their upcoming release!
