He was last seen walking the ramp for young girls in the village of Mijwan. Now, actor
Ranbir Kapoor has been seen donating solar lamps that are worth an extravagant amount to the Purani Bazar village in Lakhisarai, Bihar.

A channel approached Ranbir for this noble cause, and after gathering a bit of information on his own, Ranbir decided to go along with the cause and help donate solar lamps.
By donating these lamps, Ranbir is helping the village develop more than ever. The reason why he wanted to donate solar lamps is simple - they are better economically and environmentally than kerosene lamps, a fact the actor found out by doing some research of his own. By donating such incredible quantity of solar lamps, the actor believes that he is doing his part to help prevent global warming.
Ranbir's noble cause will be seen making a vast difference for these Purani Bazar vendors in the terms that whilst they used kerosene lamps, their earnings were cut down by at least Rs 8. In fact, they were considered to be lucky if they were even able to grab hold a kerosene lamp in the first place since kerosene lamps are scarce. Those that were unfortunate would have to close their stores before sunset with whatever they had earned that day due to the lack of electricity the village was supplied with. With the possession of these new solar lamps allows businesses to bloom more than before.
We hope that with Ranbir's noble act, we'll be able to see brightness shine in the lives of these people.
