It's a surprising revelation from the actress who has built her
career on the meaty roles that made

an instant favorite with critics.
However
Kangna Ranaut ruffled many feathers when she remarked that she was not
at all happy with the way her career looked so far; stating that as a
beginner in the industry she bowed to the projects handed to her albeit
not enjoying the crying female characters she portrayed.
Many
have dubbed this as lack of appreciation on her part; after all it was
these very same roles that gained her recognition and won her many
awards and nominations. Yet, can anyone be denied the right to variety,
especially when one can afford to be at the choosing end?
Whilst
her bubbly portrayal of a Punjabi kudi in Tanu Weds Manu is starkly
different to her usual roles, we wonder if the otherwise politically
correct actress is trying to shed her past too fast?
