Asin ditches Akki for Rajni?

It's a fact renowned that the leggy beauty of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone opted out of Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 2, in order to be a part of Rajnikanth's upcoming, Rana. 

It is now believed that the Ghajini-girl Asin has been finalized as the perfect replacement for the-then perfect, Deepika. It is not even confirmed, but it seems that soon she will also follow Deepika's footsteps. Talks have it that Asin, too, has been approached to be a part of the same film - Rana, which is to release in three versions: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The movie, which will be produced by Rajni's daughter Soundarya, is believed to have the southern superstar playing a triple role and while Deepika will romance with one Rajni, Asin will be seen with another. 

 

The whole ordeal has left Sajid Khan and his film with a bit of a headache. If Asin decides to follow in Deeps' footsteps, it's back to the casting couch for the director.
