Ruskin Bond in Saat Khoon Maaf!

Saat Khoon Maaf featuring Priyanka Chopra is based on well known author Ruskin Bond's Short Story 'Susannah's Seven Husbands'. The film is an Action - Thriller and has a Black Comedy plot. The latest buzz is that the Ruskin Bond himself will also be seen doing a cameo in the film. Ruskin even confirmed his role in the film during an interview at the ongoing Jaipur literary fest. If sources are to be believed, Mr. Bond has also been associated in the screenplay of the film with Vishal Bhardwaj.

The film features seven male leads with Naseeruddin Shah playing the oldest husband, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Vivaan Shah (son of Naseeruddin Shah) as the youngest husband and Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko.

Saat Khoon Maaf was earlier scheduled to release on 21 January 2011, but it's now slated to release on 18 February 2011.

It'll be a big treat to watch the Iconic Indian Writer on the Silver Screen sharing the space with numerous B-Town celebrities. Ruskin Bond previously collaborated with the Director of the Film, Vishal Bhardwaj in the movie 'Blue Umbrella' which was also based on his story. 

Though Blue Umbrella didn't fare too well at the box office let's see what Vishal Bhardwaj has in store with Saat Khoon Maaf.
