Predictions 2011 - Hits or Flops ?!

There's no denying the power of our filmy superstars, for their jalwa makes us shell out exorbitant ticket fees at the box office week after week. But there are stars out there even more powerful than them. You got it; we're talking of the "twinkle twinkle" type. Those little specks in the sky may just have the power to determine the fate of Bollywood's best and brightest. By combining the science of their predictions and astrology along with the parallel discipline of numerology, BollyCurry brings you a special feature on what destiny might hold for some of 2011's most eagerly anticipated releases.

The general forecast for the year is somewhat underwhelming. This is because 2011 adds up to (2+0+1+1) 4 and which is ruled by the planet Uranus. Khiladi Kumar's upcoming release is already the talk of the town. The count comes to number 45 and is not compatible with director Nikhil Advani, who is a number 5 person. Extremely average fare is expected at the box office. Akshay's Ajna Chakra is filled with negative energy, which indicates some missteps on his part as well. His aura is purple, which tells us his fears may soon be realized. We wonder what might be turning his heart chakra anti-clockwise - perhaps some unresolved grudges from the past?

Ready (27th May 2011)

This remake of a popular production from the South comes to number 13, so again we are to expect the unexpected. Salman's basic Chakra has become anti-clockwise and his aura has turned bottle green, which hints at him losing the position he recently solidified with Dabangg's success. With everything else macho man Sallu Miah is capable of, somehow we think that he will certainly manage to turn the stars in his favor as well.

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara (27th May 2011)

Another multi-starrer coming our way, the letter values for this one adds up to 62 - again, not an exciting number. Therefore, this one gets another lackluster prediction. Hrithik Roshan's chakras are disproportionate and misaligned, hinting at health issues. His aura being pale blue and red indicates the return of shaky grounds for his recently revived career. With his health not being the best at the moment makes this prediction a bit more worrisome than the others, but the thoughts and prayers of his numerous loyal fans are sure to keep Duggu dazzling regardless of what destiny has in store.

Rockstar (27th May 2011)

This movie stars contemporary cutie, Ranbir Kapoor. Its letter count comes to 24 and shares a moderate compatibility with director Imtiaz Ali, who is number 7 person. Therefore, success is in the forecast but not in overwhelming proportions. Ranbir's aura is out of sync and so are his chakras, rendering both his career and personal life unstable - hit today, flop tomorrow. Let's hope RK Junior channels his inner Rocket Singh and beats all odds to come out a winner - with both this film and the rest of his promising career!

Ra One (3^rd June 2011)

The much awaited sci-fi movie featuring King Khan as G.One adds up to the number 20. Even number 20 bodes no better than an average performance at the box office. SRK's chakras are misaligned and aura is black mixed with grey, so fear and anxiety are likely to cloud his judgment for the worse. But then again, he isn't known as King Khan for nothing! We are certain that Shah Rukh too will triumph over odds with support from his millions of dilwalis around the globe.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (July 2011)

Last but not the least, we have Imran Khan's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, which comes to number 70 and yields rather confusing numerological results. However, the year 2011 in general is in sync with Imran's name as both add up to 4. Therefore, whether or not this film proves to be successful, it's most likely a smooth sailing for B-town's new chocolate boy. Yes ladies, he's going to be okay.

At the end of the day, the stars of the sky may have a say in the fate of our filmstars, but let's not forget that even more powerful than them is Janta Janardhan!
