Happy Birthday Salman Khan!

December 27 mark's a special day for countless fans and the industry itself, as it celebrates the birthday of Bollywood's very own Dabaang Macho Khan. He's the philandering lover boy, the rule breaker, occasionally the bad boy, but a man nonetheless, with a golden heart!

Salman Khan, born on December 27, 1965, is the son of the legendary writer Salim Khan, who penned many yesteryear super-hits including Sholay, Deewar, and Don. Salman entered the tinsel town glam world in 1988 with a supporting role in the movie Biwi Ho To Aisi, which was nothing phenomenal by itself, but he bounced right back next year with his mega hit at BO - Maine Pyar Kiya. From there on, there has been no looking back. Some of his best works are Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Karan Arjun, Khamoshi: The Musical, Partner, Wanted, Dabbang...His work was first noticed internationally with the movie Phir Milenge where he played the role of an AIDS patient. It wasn't exactly the cash making box office release, but was well appreciated by the World Health Organization (WHO) for presenting the problems of an AIDS patient in today's world.

His personal life has been marked with the coming and going to several women, the making of love scandals as that with Aishwarya Rai, and the making of legal scandals. However, his fan following has steadily only risen, and for his fans, Salman will always be the large hearted man, with no airs of being Khan celebrity!
